Frank Miragliotta has been a teacher for the BOCES Technical School for Adults for over 20 years. His love and dedication to teaching shows as he still teaches Adult Education Classes on Long Island, NY part time at night and still has time to do weddings on the weekends.

He owned and operated a successful photography and custom framing shop for over 30 years. During this time, he shared his dream and vision with six loyal, and dedicated employees.

He presently does custom picture framing for retailers. He also has a very successful wholesale custom picture framing business where he sells to artists, designers, and corporate clients. Much of his work has also been sold to hospitals, restaurants, publishing houses and nursing homes.

He started his business with just a $400.00 investment in the 1970's and worked from his home, which was located near the business district of Riverhead, Long Island, NY. From his house, he began doing camera repair and photography.  As his clientele grew and his business expanded he soon he ran out of room and bought a store just 1 block from his house.  Here he setup his own photography and frame shop and employed six dedicated employees.

With his business now just 25 feet from Main Street, he branched out into video rental and sales, custom picture framing, and camera accessories. This new location, complete with a large public parking lot, gave him a competitive edge.

After 20 years of running the store, he decided to slow down a bit and focus on teaching. He sold his business and he now does wholesale custom framing, weddings, and teaches framing, which is his first love.
